Welcome back to the Plant Based Body Podcast!
It has been a long time coming, but it is finally time to share my story with you all.
My journey of every up and every down, the entire rollercoaster of life.
I’ve been pretty transparent and open about my mental health in the past, but in this episode I am more vulnerable than I have ever been before.
Mental health is very important to me. Raising awareness about it, talking about it and helping other people with their mental illness.
It’s no secret that I experience mental health issues, and boy have I had times where I’m not sure I would come back from the places it has taken me.
But I did, and I always will.
I believe that through our deepest vulnerabilities come the greatest benefits.
If one person listens to my story and is able to relate and take something away from it, then it makes it all worth it.
And that’s the goal, to hopefully let others know that they are not alone.
Because we all feel alone sometimes, and sometimes the darkness creeps in.
That’s why it is so important for us to arm ourselves with the tools and the self care tips to help ourselves when we get into that place.
I hope you can take something from this episode and that it leaves you with a deeper understanding of who I am.
If you or anyone you know is going through something, remember to just be there for them.
Let them know that you are there, and just offer an ear for them to talk to.
Professional services are incredibly useful and I always recommend seeing a psychologist. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself.
